I specifcially say leftist in the title since I haven't seen Moderate Democrats do it as often, but can somebody explain the trend that whenever there is a highly publicized shooting incident (whether it's in a supermarket, school, or any other public place) you guys seem to immediately call for more gun control laws. These calls also seem to happen regardless of the individual circumstances of the shooting.

It's almost as if you guys can't help yourselves because it has happened so often, so I am offering an opportunity to discuss why here before Yahoo Answers shuts down.

But to share my opinion on this policy first, I'm a conservative Republican Trump supporter, but actually neutral about this one policy issue. With that in mind, I welcome thoughts from people of any political ideology here (not just conservatives).

I am asking if you approve of the current effort by some in your party to attack the 6 US Senators who voted against the Asian hate crime bill passed 2 days ago (sometimes referred to as the Stop Asian Hate bill)?

Also, I am specifically asking this since I am gathering opposing opinions to use on an episode of a small politically conservative podcast/radio show (that I own) that will be produced later today (4-16-2021). Please visit tuckahoe.podbean.com if you are interested in listening to this podcast (as it will only air on radio in Brick, NJ on April 29th).
