    Is it unfair to look for a relationship knowing that you won't be emotionally attached, even if you treat the other person very well?

    For example, you treat the person wonderfully, listen to their needs and desires and act on them to keep the person happy,but you simply do not feel anything for them aside from minor pleasure at them fitting a superficial set of preferences?

  • Do people give up too easily?

    Do you think, in this day and age people are giving up too easily?

    Is the "greener on the other side" myth too alluring?, or do people get too wrapped up in themselves to spend time maintaining and fixing problems in a marriage these days?

    Have people forgotten that any good relationships will involve dealing with problems, talking them out and co-cooperatively fixing them, instead of saying "I don't want to deal with it" and pushing blame?

    Or do you think all is mostly well?
