can .5 Volts do damage to my laptop?
I have a Toshiba laptop that has a 19V (3.42A @ 64.98W) ac/dc adapter that's not working. I do have a Dell 19.5V (3.34A @ 65.13W) ac/dc adapter not being used. Can I switch the tips and use it on the Toshiba? There's a +.5V, -.08A and a +.15W difference. I know most ac/dc adapters have a "tolerance" range, but not sure if this falls into that range and not sure if this "set-up" would do damage to the battery or laptop over the long run. I'm thinking I would only need to use this"arrangement" for a couple of weeks.
2 個解答Laptops & Notebooks10 年前How big (in Bytes) are the digital copies of movie DVD's?
I'm debating on setting up a home-server and was just curious how much space a DVD or the digital copy (only some of them came with this) would require. I know it depends on the movie length itself, but what's a good "average"?

6 個解答Law & Ethics1 十年前President elected by other Politicians to be the "CEO" of the Federal Gov,?
wouldn't that cause a "conflict of Interest" for the President between the Politicians (who put him there) and the people he Presides over? Exactly who is he most loyal to? Doesn't this arrangement automatically insinuate bias?
Wikipedia: the President and Vice President are elected to be executives of a federation of independent states.
1 個解答Other - Politics & Government1 十年前WHY, would you want to rule the world?
Proportionately, the majority of countries, and their residents, would be a liability to a "Global Monarchy/Dictatorship". Can you imagine the logistical nightmare of being the "sole ruler of Earth"? Not to mention how much you would have to give up in order to get everyone on the same level playing field? Sounds like too much crap to handle for the benefits of ruling the World to me. As the "King", you would have a certain standard of living, but if you went to any of the several poorer countries, they could not accomodate you and your "lifestyle luxuries". Just a question to see what/how/why people think about this issue.

Isn't the National Guard a State's exclusive militia under the authority of the State Constitution and Govenor? Would the State have to declare "war" for foreign deployment? and does the State have the power to delegate authority and control of it's own militia to the Federal Government?
8 個解答Government1 十年前I read that the US electoral system is contrary to a true Democracy?
with the current "all for one" system used in many states, a candidate would only need 51% of 11 states. Isn't that around 11% of the population being "called" the majority?
6 個解答Elections1 十年前is the Abomination ,from the incredible Hulk, 16' 8" or 6' 8"?
marvel universe says he's 16' 8" and marvel directory says he's 6' 8". there's also a 2000 lb weight difference. which is it? if he's actually 16' 8", that makes him a little more than twice the height of the green/savage Hulk. (i know the Hulk's height changes when his strength increases).

state and federal taxes has been raised 73 times since 2000. when is enough enough? they're using smoking as a well they keep drawing from over and over. to cover what? the expenses incurred were already paid back by "big tobacco". now they're going after the actual smoker, after the manufacturer.
