My girlfriend and I have been dating for exactly 20 days now. And I want to hug her, but I'm super shy how should I do it? She is kind of socially awkward so it may not work out too well...

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 2 weeks. And I'm not sure if she even really likes me. There are kids in my class that say she thinks I'm scary or something and I ask her and she says no. And today the same kid says that she told him that we broke up, I'm getting really tired of this. I haven't asked her if she said that but she is probably gonna say she didn't. Also, I am always starting the conversations about everything through text etc. and a few days ago I asked her if she wants to go see a movie with me, and she said why? she rarely even talks to me we only really talk like in one class daily. And the same kid that said said she wanted to break up with me, told her that I wanted to break up with her, her face just turned red and she said cool I don't care. After that I said I never said that and she thought I was mad at her. I'm just so confused and upset, please help
