  • Are you happy..really?

To me the scariest thing in life is not knowing one's place in the world - it's just an awful feeling; crippling really. It kills motivation for trying to do something good with your life. It therefore, kills the possibility of happiness.

Do you feel how I do?

    Are you happy?

  • Are you a druggie?? Be real about it!?

I use that word "druggie" because it can be derogatory and thus can draw out the folks that are REALISTIC about their situation. doesn't mean you gotta feel bad, but it should also be a kick in the ***. some of you need it. trust me, --> I <-- should know! so be real with your answer. keep up the **** you are on, as long as u keep it real. get me?

  • Alcoholics: How do you feel right now?

I'm personally in alcoholic limbo right now. I might feel regretful if I wasn't boozed up enough to suppress it. But logically I know better.

If you're not an alcoholic, its cool, but if you give a judgmental answer, you're a prick. Don't judge lest you be in a position to be judged.

  • Creationism/Evolution...?

What do you think about fossils? Scientific evidence toward evolution? The Book of Genesis?

I know what I believe in...so sorry, let me rephrase: I know what I THINK - a belief, to me, would absolute. The only thing, that I personally know, is that I am ignorant to the true workings of the universe, and life in general.

What your answers mean to me are not a matter of truth or controversy, but a matter of faith. Faith matters to me. Be true to yourself and what you believe in, and it DOES hold truth, whether all agree or not. It holds truth because YOU believe it. That's faith. Doesn't matter to ME what you have faith in, as long as you have it.

This will promote controversy - there is no avoiding it. I welcome it. Bad comments will be said. That's how we identify the good comments though. Don't understand? Don't agree? Think I'm loopy? Awesome! Be sure to mention that, and be sure to be controversial and insulting too. =D

  • Have faith in Jesus/God? I have a question..?

I will not bother pointing out what my opinion/belief is on the subject - that would suggest I'm biased (which I'm honestly not) and conjure up some very biased responses too.

    But I ask..

If you believe in Jesus/God, what do you think about people who claim that they have spoken directly with them? (i.e. believe them, think its a miracle, think they are full of it etc)

  • Religious and NON-religious folks: Is this entertaining?

    Let me clarify

I think there is serious meaning to the questions/answers, with the religious subjects here.

I also think there is great wisdom a LOT more ignorance/stupidity - from BOTH sides.

I guess an additional question I have IS: Do you feel like there is something positive to learn from the 'other side' on here (ie. you are religious learning something from an atheist)

But main question: is this funny/entertaining to you?

I ask partially to learn...but mostly to be entertained.

Spark debate on this question, seriously! Controversy is entertaining!

  • What episode of Lost should I watch?

I feel the meaning behind the show as a whole, and the individual episodes, have very ambiguous meanings, and so i love knowing what episode(s) people like.

Which one should I watch. Straight up question, which should I watch?

No smartass comments...ok I take that back, bring it on. lol

  • Do certain age groups match up with certain theist/atheist views on life?

I define myself as neither an atheist or a theist, just for the record. Ive let go from all that go from my way of thinkig. But you can let that notion relate to my question, or not, its up to you.

But I know for sure that some people transition from other of the other during their lifetime.

    So Im curious..

What is your age and are you religious/spiritual or not? And as a side question; did you change ways during your life; and how

  • Ladies: Do you feel its neccesary to come off as "VERY" willing to hook up with a guy?

    So a little detail here:

I had posted an ad on craigslist at one time, seeking a girl who wanted to just hook up, or even be friends at the same time.

that was a while ago..maybe a year ago

So I find a girl on my messenger list who I had respond to that ad. I couldnt remember how we had met, but we figured it out pretty quick...she had responded to that ad.

Im not the typical devious f-head you will find on craigslist...i have a personality and a sense of humor..one she was definitely going for.

despite that we first met via that ad, it didn't matter to me. she was funny and nice. she was also PRETTY as HELL! i said 'wow' when i saw her face pics.

but she insisted sending me more pics. i only accepted on her insistence ...because she REALLLLY insisted on sending me body pics. they were sexy, but lacked that 'personality' and 'sweetness' i saw in her face pics. thats not to suggest i didnt like them...i totally did. amazing body!

but i told her that she had me impressed even with just her face pics. she got all offended, saying i was being too nice now.

ladies, before i ramble on more, I just wanna know, what do you think? i guess i have no specific question besides that

  • Do you ever feel like you can't tell how down you feel to people?

Even your closest friends/family. Not that you don't care/respect/love them, but it takes one to know one even with people who feel sad/depressed. Talking with people who don't feel like I do never made me feel any better. Are you feeling sad/depressed/lonely/lost like I do? Shoot me an answer, mail, IM

  • Can anyone chat with a depressed guy with suicidal thoughts?

No, you're not gonna make me off myself by talking to me..lol. Everyone thinks about it now and then though, right? But right now I feel like I have "no way out". So i need someone to talk to. Will you help me? Email and IM are public.

  • Does anyone know a suicide/depression chat room that is 24/7?

Don't worry, I'm not about to off myself right now, but..

The thought has been going through my head, like I think it does for a lot of people every once in a while when their situation feels hopeless or they have simply lost direction.

I just want a chat room to talk to someone in, even if not a professional

Please don't waste my time with telling me "I don't know any chat rooms" or "maybe instead you should..."

You either know or you don't. Thanks

  • Atheists/Devout religious folks, will you please listen?

First, I must say - I welcome argument. We humans are a species of great controversy. We almost seemingly never agree on any subject - least of all the subject of religion; of our beliefs; of our faith.

Myself, I am a man who seeks the truth. I try to do it without being biased. However, I am only human, and being entirely un-biased is impossible.

So please, with accepting great controversy, and listening to even those you disagree with...

    ...let us debate.

Shall we devote ourselves entirely to one set of beliefs - to one religion - possibly even to one God (or 'set' of Gods)? Or shall we not accept any religion to be 'the one' and accept our ignorance as the only thing we can possibly know? Or...shall we just dismiss spiritual beliefs entirely.

I am looking for deep responses only..and they should be in in reference to what you think - not what I think. What I think is irrelevant, because I am not here to tell you what to think. Why should I? I'm no prophet.

So...let's hear some thoughts. Vague question I know (with a lot of ranting), but if you have anything meaningful to say - say it! If not, I'll probably get a lame one-liner from you. Write that too. Just keep the controversy going. ;)

  • Do you believe in evil or ignorance?

    A very non-partial question here.

Some believe the reason people can be so horrible to one another is because some people are inherently good while others are inherently evil. Others believe that there is only ignorance, and therefore misunderstanding. Either way, all leading to human conflict. So what is the truth? What do you think?

  • Christians AND atheists: Why can't let you let each other think how they want to?

Some of you (whether you realize it or not) are all trying to build a metaphorical momument to what you believe by stating, in absolution, what you believe in. But if you try to build a momument for other people instead of just yourself, it remains your momument, not theirs, and they will lose belief in it the moment they find a flaw in it...or in you. Its cool with me whatever you wanna think or believe in, but nobody can tell another how to think. If I'm wrong, we may as well may thinking illegal.

Atheists: You may not believe in God, but just because some religious people condemn your way of thinking doesn't mean you need to denounce the teachings of religious people everywhere.

Christians: Even if you think you are right and atheists are wrong in your ways of thinking, you must remember that, according to what you believe, God forgives his children, and we as children of God must forgive each other.

You may disagree with what I say, and thats fine, just know that I mean no hatred with what I say. But know that it is possible to be overzealous with your opinions and beliefs, as to destroy what you may hope to save, until there is nothing left but emptiness.
