Why does my DVD player sputter and hesitate when white explosions happen in a program?
Our Toshiba DVD recorder/player jerks and hesitates during lightning flashes or explosions on screen. It is hooked up to an older regular television, with the audio running through a home theater system. It makes lots of programs almost unwatchable during action scenes.
The audio usually falls behind by a half second after these interruptions.
The DVD's or video files play fine on a computer.
What could be causing this? I can't find any information by Googling. Thanks!
