Several months ago I suffer a betrayal - not a male/female relationship - a financial one. When everything was said and done I lost a court battle.

Everyone who knew that I was wrong have said; don't worry Karma will take care of the issues.

So, I would like to know do you believe in Karma and what side of Karma were you on?

would the male also be responsible gender identity? There are so many stereotype on gender roles, a female is emotional where a male is not emotional, would it be fair to say that if the gender role be taken out of the equation that male and females would be judged on their character and not the gender?

Yesterday a representative from social services came to my neighbors unit, she was reported to ss by her married male friend to the agency (I do not know the facts; police did an interview at that time and made their presents know).

This is the dilemma:

Mother is approximately 22-25 years old

Has three minor children - ages 3-5-7

The mother has had several males in her unit and has fought with two; loud enough for the

neighbors to hear.

When the male companions come to visit the mother send her children downstairs to her mothers

First, we found the youngest child outside at midnight; the grandmother was at work and left the children with the 13 year old aunt.

The children have been playing outside after dark; again with the 13 year old and on a cell phone. The minor were playing in the street; there is no place for the minor to play except for the parking lot (which is adequate for playing).

The minor are routinely outside unsupervised; there does not appear to be any toys for the minors. Several weeks ago the youngest child was rushed to the hospital; she had injured her finger in a heavy metal door (the mother was entertaining).

After the first incident I started letting the landlord know what was going on; and I have been documenting (pictures) when the children are out after dark, left in the hallway, damaging the property and throwing rocks at the residents vehicles.

I asked the mother to care for her children as well as letting her know what child endangerment is; she has continued to let her children fend for themselves and do as they please.

Mother, grandmother are undocumented; minors are anchor babies; mother does not work.

What options are there when a mother does not care for her minors and receives Social Services.

I fear for the safety of the children; but also do not want to create additional problems for this person; but safety first.

Was it a surprise or was it something you asked for over & over; and, did you get it.

I have been told if you want to get recognized by an employer you need to stand out. My cover letter is my first introduction and although it is a standard letter I do chance it for each employer's needs. My question is has anyone hit it out of the park with a new fresh idea for your cover letter?

A couple of years ago I was laid off my good paying job; I was fortunate enough to pay-off all my debt and my daughters debt. My daughter had a p-t job while she attended college, but lost that position a few months ago. My relatives were able to put there name on the title of the property that I was to inherite after my grandmother's passing; I went to court and would you believe that one of the most prestigous law firms lost my case due to putting an inexperience attorney on the case. By the time I was able to get a new attorney on my case the damage was done.

Now, this is the issue I am having, a dear friend of my stepped up when I needed her, my unemployment ran out and she open her home to me and my daughter when my court case was at it worst. I moved out of her home when I recieved my settlement (I told her earlier in the year that I had found a place to live; she offer her home until my case settle). I moved out in February of this year and I still have not found a job nor has my daughter; our money is running out fast.

My friend calls on a regular basis to remind me that I need to get a job; the thing is she has only had a one job in her life that lasted about five years; then she married a man that kept her in a life style that she wanted to be kept in (it did come with a violent cost, but she settle).

Her calls are so negative with state of the economy blues I feel like she wants me to fail. I choose to be independent and walked away from two bad marriages. I love her like a sister but if she calls me one more time to tell me to clean houses or work for Home Depot I will end our friendship. By no mean do I think that these jobs are beneath me; I have full body arthritisis and it is very difficult for me to stand or sit for long period of time. I have been able to get free lance work to supplement my income; but it is nothing like a pay-check.

My request to all who have a though on how I can preserve my friendship would be welcome.

One other thing, she just purchased book on Financial Planning stating that she is going to be a Financial Planner...

Our small company purchased a sign for the outside of our company; the sign company was recommended. The sign was never made and the owner of the company never met the deadline for the sign and never returned the money. We took the owner to court, he did not show and we won our judgement; only to find out that the courts do not collect. A statement of assets was sent to both parties by the courts, but the defendant never responded. A register collection letter was sent to the defendant, but now has been returned un-opened and un-signed.

We are stumped on how to get our money back without it costing us as much as the sign. I am not sure what the next step is.

My grandmother left my sister and me property with two houses on it; one house each via a will. Upon her death her will could not be found; it has been fourteen years since her death, my sister and I have paid taxes on the property all those years, including insurance and maintenance on the property. Numerous attempts were made to locate the will, but in our search we discovered that my aunt did not remove her name from the deed after several surgeries that my grandmother had. My lawyers have since told me that the only recourse is to go through adverse possession; because my aunt has now transferred the deed into her two adult children names. I have since been evicted, but not my sister. It was also discovered that my sister played a role in the missing will as well as the transfer of the deed. Since my eviction one year ago my sister came up with a hand written journal by my grandmother which contained a hand written condensed copy of her formal will. I have been advised that because the deed supercedes the will and that I will lose in court. And, I will have to pay all court cost when I lose.

Because my case is now adverse possession and I met the elements of this law; shouldn't the finding of the condensed will also be taken out of the equation? And, if adverse possession is not a real option because judges don't want to take property away from "owners", then why have adverse possession at all? The gravy of this case is that my aunt defrauded welfare in this process and the responsible agency does not want pursue the case because it did not exceed 50k.

I am in California and have not found any recent or past cases on adverse possession with any results. Any thoughts.

I have been dating a man off & on for years (I am talking about a lot of years); although, I am in love with this man, we met under a stressful time in my life (the man I was engaged to was murdered). I met this man about a year after the tragedy, but we never have had a real commitment to each other. He has stated that he never wants to married and 18 years ago when I met him I felt the same way. We always get back together after we end relationships with other people and I have now recognized that we are each other crutch; and don't commit ourselves to others, because of this fact.

This now has to stop, because I want to be married. I miss the friendship of a companion and all that is involved with a real commitment. I have tried to end this on/off again relationship, but now I have to make it stick.

What would you want to hear if you had to hear good bye forever and know that it is really over? I know there are no truly easy ways to say good bye, but it does not have to be cruel.

I have a relative that has a rental property but does not claim it on taxes, because the tenant rights a check directly to the tax assessor instead of paying "rent". Because the relative does not see the money in their hand believes that there is no need for the rental to be claimed.

I say the property is income because it doesn't matter if the money is paid directly to the relative; it still income. And, there are other legal issues that can come up.

recovery, does the patient feel anything while they are on life support? And, would a doctor advise that a patient be removed from life support if there is still feeling?

Also, can a patient have a moment of lucidity unable to talk prior to being put on life support but than able to have a moment to utter a complete sentence?

I have a relative that claims that this happened to another relative and it sounds far fetched to me?

I have a Pro Bono attorney helping with two cases - I had a difficult time getting an attorney to help me with a Probate Case - I am an executrix on my grandmother estate along with her daughter - my grandmother died in 1996 and her daughter burnt her will - prior to my grandmother's death her daughter had progressively transferred my grandmother house into her name to avoid paying medi-cal back for their financial services. I finally have found attorney willing to take my case through adverse possession - my grandmother left me & my sister her property in her will - but since there is no longer a will I have not been able to get judges to hear my cases.

The Unlawful Detainer judge did not want to step on the Superior Court Judges feet so he would not listen to the Consolidation for the adverse possession reasons.

Because I do not have a will the U.D. judge evicted me without waiting for a judge to hear the adverse possession case; I feel like I am chasing my own tail, because the judges are so polite to each other they could care less if I have a roof over my head. Is there a judge that will follow the law in the court system or will I have to continue to bend over for these judges?

Yes I am angry, I have a relative that stole from her dying mother, the government that help pay for my grandmother med. bills through fraud and she is getting away with it???

I will be willing to read a funny joke in lieu of a serious answer if that is the best you can do....

last week I asked how to locate a sender of an email that was sent to me; the information give was to find IP address, ISP & IRC; I thought I had located the sender using the IP option. A 10 digit number can up for the IP when I enter the IP address it came up with a longitude/latitude, an land address in Hemet, CA and a family name.

I was also able to recover the entire family composition but none of the names are familiar. I now more confused than ever since I am in Los Angeles and the information given is only about 50 miles away; so I am not sure what I found.

Is there a different way to find the sender of this email?

I am clueless on how to find this information. I have reviewed my tax bill, property insurance, title information I have not found what the value was for the time frame I need. Is that information recorded anywhere?

Major legal battle going on and would greatly appreciate anyone help that has this knowledge.

I recently received an email from a person with concerns over an issues that I may or may not be able to resolve, but because of the anonymity via email (under a fictitious email name) I can not pursue their claims.

My question is there a way for me to find out who set-up this fictitious email account? I have looked into their allegations but have found no substance yet. I have emailed them back, but was unsuccessful in a receiving a response. In order for me to continue to pursue these allegations I need to ask specific question from this sleuth.

Can I find out who this person is?

I am trying to locate a relative that lives in a motel in Ukiah, CA, I have called dozens of motels but to no avail, I need to contact her by the end of next week, but no family member seems to know where she is at.
