If you abandoned your child and he didn't love you because you were not there all his life and he didn't even know you existed. Would you allow him to rot in an eternity of pain and agony while claiming you still love him?

The soul is what goes to heaven according to religion so.

Our Mind controls and retains:

Our senses Touch, sight, hearing, taste, ect.

Controls our emotions Love, hate, lust, jealously, thoughts, and reasoning

Stores our memories.

You can see where this is going.

Now my question is since the soul is not the mind what exactly is going to heaven or hell? An empty vessel? Since without our minds we lose all of the above mentioned things look at a damaged mind it loses information and it's obvious that if a soul exist has no part in that process to retain anything our minds do.

The species (or kind) of gobies are mostly aquatic only fish but through Micro evolution the mud skipper has adapted to breathing and living days at a time out of water. actually they are most active out of water then when in water. They have adapted to a life style similar to amphibians such as salamanders. Their front fins have also changed to be used more as feet then as fins.

At what point would you say the mudskipper is a fish that is part of the gobies species? If you say it's always a fish what evolutionary changes would have to occur for you to say it's a new kind (even if you happen to think its impossible)?

A god or god(s) that always has existed. Is all knowing, all powerful, consciousness, that is not bound by any boundaries of the natural world. Has thoughts, knowledge, a plan, and created the universe for the solo purpose of his creation (humans).

Scenario 2:

or by default all empty space in the Cosmos is just and endless quantum fluctuating vacuum void of matter (at first) in a given region. Due to the uncertainty principle virtual particles, in the vacuum, are constantly spontaneously creating pairs of particles (1 positive 1 negative) which separate briefly then annihilate each other on contact. Over an infinite amount of time virtual particles form in close proximity to each other preventing the original pairs from combining again (do to gravity). This eventually causes the vacuum (in a given region) to expand rapidly and eventually give rise to a universe.

I'd say the probability that the Cosmos is an endless fluctuating vacuum of energy (by default) void of matter (at first). Where virtual particle are constantly popping in and out of existence (which has been observed and proven) is more likely then a complex god. A caring, all knowing, loving, god who created this universe just for us is impractical for many reasons. First evidence for a god has never been displayed the fact that an all knowing, powerful, creator that can interacts with humans supernaturally is testable. The interaction would defy all possible natural explanations and there for could be observed by science. A god who does not interact with our universe would be untestable and unfalsifiable so I can not make a claim for or against that type of god. Second a god has no evidence to support it but a endless quantum fluctuating vacuum does have evidence for it.

If you don't understand quantum fluctuation or virtual particles please just say I DON'T know if you object to it rather than making a statement that will make you look foolish.

Okay I've never been given a strait answer on this and I'll attempt one last time.

Person A: He helps the poor and suffering. Spends his life doing good things and contributing to society. He doesn't believe in god because there is no evidence to support such belief. - he goes to hell

Person B: This man rapes a children and commits several murders. He changes his ways and repents dedicating the rest of his life to jesus. He goes to heaven.

The only way to heaven according to the bible is repentance and belief in jesus. How is this moral? Also the families of those who lost loved ones would live eternity with this person. That seems like hell to me what is your take?

Christians what if your wrong? What if the "GOD OF RATIONALISM EXISTS"? He doesn't want you to worship him or believe he exist. He only wants people who look at the evidence and to conclude that there is no reason for believing in him. He only accepts people who don't believe into his heaven. He only wants those who don't blindly follow him false gods to be saved. For believing in him would be impossible since he didn't leave any clues nor does he interact with us.

I've been told Atheist just want to be sinners and we have no moral guideline like those who have religion. I will explain where i get my morals from and compare it to christians.

I live in a cooperative society where my actions can directly harm or hinder the group as a whole. In order for me to contribute and benefit from this society I must get along and not cause harm to it's structure. If everyone goes around raping killing or harming others in the society it would not become beneficial to be part of such a structure. My Morality is based on my actions not harming those around me and contributing to the group. It hurts me to see anyone in the group struggling and want to help as many people as I can live a better life.. I do this because I CARE and not because someone told me to do it.

Religion however says since god said so is there foundation of their morals. Two problems I have with this are:

If god told you tomorrow to kill a child or rape those who are not christian would it be Moral? God has told people to kill, rape, and enslave enemies in the past does that make it morally right back then?

If you rape, murder, hurt, lie, cheat, steal or any other sin you can be forgiven through repentance & placing your faith in jesus.

What do you think? Is it okay to be naturally moral without god and do good but go to hell? Is it moral to be forgiven for horrible crimes just because of repentance and jesus?

I've spoken to MANY Christians and theologians. The break down is this.

Jesus died for our sins

The only way to god is through jesus

Jesus will forgive you through your belief in him and repentance of your sins

So the requirements are to sincerely believe in jesus and repent for your sins. When you do this you will be granted eternal life in heaven.

Person A - Does not believe lives a good life does many good things. This person goes to Hell

Person B - Rapes children, Murders, Steals, Cheats, And lives a life full of sin. Before death he cries out and sincerely believes in Jesus and turns away from his evil ways repenting. - he goes to heaven.

Is that how a moral god works? If not what part do you object to? Also if you object to person B going to heaven is it still a possibility?

Instead of jesus coming to me or his father I got budda. WTF i opened to jesus and budda came i don't get it what is wrong with me?

What would an undersigned object look like and how could we distinguished between designed and undersigned? Also If everything complex needed a designer wouldn't the designer need to be complex thus needing a designer?

So here is the problem My friend (who shall not be named) kid was raped and murdered several years ago. The man who did it has a history of raping kids and many hidious crimes. My friend is a devote christian and is sicked with the thought the man has found jesus and is repenting.

She can't stand the thought of living in eternity with this man in heaven. She wish he would burn in hell but her preacher told her she needs to forgive him as god will forgive him and her for all their sins commit here on earth.
