  • Job Application Issued By Jobcentre?

    I signed on on the Thursday like normal and like normal I was issued and had printed off a job that I would need to apply for by the job centre person. Only problem is is while it's still listed on their site, when you go through to do the application form it says the job is no longer available! I'm not sure what to do as if you don't apply for the position you will lose your job seekers benefit, any suggestions? This is a UK question.

    Hi, keeping things short. Basically I've recently gotten a Sunday job in retail but had to do extra hours to cover this week because my boss is away on holiday. I also claim jobseekers while I'm searching for a job with more hours. For this week only I have done over 16 hours but any other week its my usual times. Will I lose my Jobseekers for just covering this one week?

    This is just a general question and intrigued by what others thoughts were on this subject.

    Do you find it acceptable for your partner to keep in contact with an ex? What if the ex was almost flirting with your partner and reminiscing about the relationship? If this was happening would say something or demand that your partner cuts him/her off?
