Hi there, here is the thing, i have this virus in my old PC that continuously changes the page that i am in , using win XP i tried to return to a safe time so to speak, doesn't work, so i decided to buy a new windows 7 , format and install it so that i can clean the PC from all virus etc and have a fresh start, problem is when i go on Ebay, they warn you that the disks can only be used for a new PC with no other windows programs installed , first of all what windows 7 is the best for home use and is there one that can be used by someone that wants to update their operating system, thank you all for your advice

Hi there, here is my problem, my old PC is running windows XP pack 3 , its got this virus that keeps on changing the page that im on at the time , im using google chrome , running updated superantispyware and avira , did the tests with them , then i tried rebooting on safe mode & changes to a safer time in the past etc , nothing works , any advice will be helpfull, thank you all.

Hi there, just bought a second hand PC, no cables or monitor, that i tried to connect with a couple of different flat screen monitors usings VGA cables that did not work , then i tried connecting using DVI-D (both ends of the cable) = didn't work, so by searching on the google images im almost sure that the connector/socket at the back of the PC is a DVI-I , question is = can a DVI-D cable send a signal to a DVI-D socket at the back of a monitor? these DVI_ sockets and cables are a real headache trying to sort out, thank you for advice

Hi there, i just bought this old pc that has been refurbished by its previous owner, the specs are as follows=DeLL Optiplex 745 Intel Pentium D 945 3.40Ghz PC

upgraded system from the stock standard Optiplex 745. It has more ram , a better graphic card , and a CD/DVD Writer/Re-Writer as opposed to just ROM.

The system is installed with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit, 30 day trial. my problem is that i have not been able to connect an old LCD monitor to this by standard cables that come with the monitor, the cables connect but nothing happens on the screen, the monitor and cables work fine on another PC , so there's nothing wrong with the monitor, any advice please?

The system is installed with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit, 30 day trial. , the problem is that i have three different flat screen monitors and none of them work with this PC, do i need a specific monitor and or different cables to what im using to connect monitor to PC? i have DVI to DVI Cable DVI-D for LCD Monitor Computer PC that i tried , also the normal VGA/SVGA HDB15 Monitor Male to Male Extension Cable N4U8 , it also does not work connecting LCD monitors to this PC , the PC would have to be at least 6 years old so i don't know what to do next, please advice , thank you Leonard

Hi there, because i cant afford to buy a bigger /new PC , i want to know if a bigger hard drive will make any difference in the performance side of things? also this sort of PC can take a second internal hard drive, i also find that i get allot of (freeze) if i have allot of pages open at the same time, i use it to watch DVDs and movies , are there any hardware that you can recommend to make this a better PC over all? thank you all .

Hi there, Is it at all possible to clean ones hard drive (other then throwing it out) so that there are no evidence found by big brother if they got their hands on the PC , using chrome browser i found this information =Download history: The list of files you've downloaded using Google Chrome is cleared, but the actual files are not removed from your computer. !!!!! So that means if anyone was looking at things that are not legal those things are stored on the hard drive for ever ... right ? SO! how do you clean files from the computer for ever? thank you all.

Hi there, the problem that im having is a next door neighbour that has a first floor window facing into my back yard, he is leaning and smoking out side his window day and night, most ready made fences do not reach high enough , so the only other thing that i can think of is to install some Cyclone fencing, just like what private tennis courts have here in sydney, then have some climbers/ vines crawl all over the galvanized mesh , over time i should have a green wall with very few gaps , the thing is that i want it to be evergreen, i don't want it to die off, and i don't want the vines to grow out of control heavy and eventually to collapse under all the weight , what are suitable plants that will grow on galvanized mesh and grow high under these circumstances please , thank you all

Hello there, i came across a couple of old laptops , with them there was this metal box and cables the company logo is Inki1 and it also has the following on it high speed USB 2.0, the laptops don't have (chargers) or electrical leads to connect to a power point and i was wondering if this gismo is used for that any ideas what its used for ?please don't get technical just a very simple answer would help me thank you all
