1 個解答YouTube2 年前Did Trump break the law when telling Jerry Jones to force players to stand during anthem?
18 U.S. Code § 227 - Wrongfully influencing a private entity’s employment decisions by a Member of Congress or an officer or employee of the legislative or executive branch

(2) influences, or offers or threatens to influence, the official act of another,
shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than 15 years, or both, and may be disqualified from holding any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.
(b) In this section, the term “covered government person” means—
(1) a Senator or Representative in, or a Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress;
(2) an employee of either House of Congress; or
(3) the President, Vice President, an employee of the United States Postal Service or the Postal Regulatory Commission, or any other executive branch employee (as such term is defined under section 2105 of title 5, United States Code).
11 個解答Politics4 年前Trump's travel ban is really saving Americans from terrorist attacks?
Nearly every US terror attack since 9/11 has been from US-born citizens. This one is no exception, if considered a terrorist attack. How about Trump does something useful like making fully-and semi-auto guns tougher/impossible for mentally ill people to obtain rather than blocking poor immigrants from entering the US?
6 個解答Politics4 年前Will another redundant gun law be written after this shooting?
Seriously, after every shooting, people in Congress write another gun law that is already in the books, just to show off that they "care". How about they begin to continually enforce the laws that are already in the books? You know, the ones that say that people must go through background checks to ensure they are not mentally ill, especially when purchasing high-capacity guns.

6 個解答Law & Ethics4 年前Is Trump more effective at controlling people than MSM?
Trump makes one tweet about NFL players and instantly, millions of sheep suddenly voice how it's "disrespectful". The media wishes they were able to do things like that.
13 個解答Politics4 年前Would it be better for player to continue protesting policy brutality, but in a different way?
The kneeling got the attention toward the issue, but it created its own controversy. There seems to be three different groups of people in this.
1. Liberals and conservatives and people inbetween who support their kneeling and want to reform the justice system
2. Liberals and conservatives and people inbetween who support their cause but think kneeling is disrespectful
3. "conservatives" who just hate the players for protesting but use the kneeling as an excuse to hate the players.
So if they made something like their little towels or armbands to say "stop police brutality", would that go over better with people? The word is already out there as to why they're protesting, so now should they begin protesting in ways that more people like?
6 個解答Politics4 年前Did you notice anything about the NFL players during the anthem this week?
I noticed that they wall had their arms locked, whether standing or kneeling. They were there in unison despite their different opinions and beliefs, and that truly represented America right there. They all stood against Trump's divisive rhetoric.
7 個解答Politics4 年前Do cons find it disrespectful toward the US to want to see it improved?
Some love trying to dehumanize people as thugs who hate the US for kneeling during the anthem. People kneeling for it are peacefully protesting for racial equality within the justice system (black people receive longer sentences for the same offenses, black people are more likely to be arrested for the same reasons, black people are more often charged with felony for the same offenses, black people are more likely to be shot by police when cooperating).
And don't even hit me with that crap about it being on "work time". Roger Goodell already stated that he supports players' rights to protest the anthem.
9 個解答Politics4 年前Did you know that kneeling during the anthem is not against US flag code?
But you know what is?
- Using flag design as wearing apparel
- Using the flag for advertising
- Using the flag on products such as cushions, pillows, blanket, etc.
- Using the flag on disposable products, such as paper plates, napkins, etc.
- Using the flag as a costume or athletic uniform
- Carrying the flag parallel to the ground (happens every game with a massive flag)
So if you find kneeling as "disrespect", you should find the entire ceremony as disrespectful.
7 個解答Politics4 年前Would cons rather see peaceful protest or violent protest?
Cons complain about small fringe groups like AntiFa, but seem to make an even bigger deal about peaceful protest such as kneeling during the anthem. Or do cons just hate anything that is contrary to their beliefs?
7 個解答Politics4 年前Cons: do you stand up out of your seat and place your hand on your heart every time you see the national anthem on TV?
because if you don't but you complain about other people during the anthem, you're nothing but a hypocrite.
8 個解答Politics4 年前Whose bright idea was it to hold the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea?
Aren't they afraid that Rocket Man is going to shoot off his rockets? France already said that they will withdraw from the Olympics if Donny and Rocket Man keep up this shouting fight. I don't blame France, because this looks like Rocket Man's perfect chance to spite the world.
10 個解答Politics4 年前Do Trumptards actually think that the "Trump Train" is unstoppable?
I mean really, he barely beat the most disliked hag in the country, and still got massively out-voted. What makes you think that he would even stand a chance against a popular Democratic candidate?
10 個解答Politics4 年前Does the Alt-Right not know how to follow a timeline?
They claim that Obama created ISIS, even though ISIS already existed in 1999.
They claim that President Obama was golfing during Katrina, even though he was not president until 3 years later.
They claim that Democrats caused the recession of 2007, even though that was under the Republicans' fiscal year.
Now they claim that the government tapped Trump's campaign chairman, even though it happened in 2014 and Manafort was not on the Trump team until 2016.
Is this just the alt-right exercising their "alternate timeline" or do they just not know how order of occurrence works?
5 個解答Politics4 年前Is every industrialized country but the US cursed?
Trump called single-payer healthcare a "curse on the U.S. & its people" [1]. A couple months ago, he said that Australia has "better healthcare than we do" [2]. He also said in the past that universal healthcare was the way to go.
So why is it suddenly a curse? Most other countries are cursed that they have the same quality care as the US at a fraction of the cost? It's a curse that they have guaranteed little-to-no out-of pocket costs? Is it a curse that they don't spend hundreds of extra dollars each month to Big Pharma?
