I rent a vehicle from Hertz by the week, and I lost my debit card. The office said that they cannot accept a temporary debit card, and that I can wait until I receive my new debit card in the mail to pay for this week. (I have spoken to about three different people and they're all fine with it since they know me now).

I am about 4 to 5 days late, and as of yesterday I have been receiving an automatic phone call every day from their collections department, advising that I need to pay "today". I called them and had them speak to the Hertz office, but that didn't help. They wanted their money ;-)

The reason that the office reps suggested that I wait for my debit card instead of paying now with a different bank account is that it would be more expensive because of how the pro-rate for the week works versus the past 4 to 5 days. It would be worth it to me to pay a little extra if it meant not having a collection on my report. I left it as is because of how confident they seemed in saying that their collections department goes through a very long process before anything would happen. What do you guys think?

Fyi my card is arriving by next Wed.

Does it mean the person is at that location, or is that just the destination address they chose?

Dropped off the application this morning and he said he'd be in touch. Nervously waiting. :P Writing this on Wednesday night.... Should I give him until at least Friday?

Sheathing first, then house wrap, then sheetrock, then siding? I was using the term sheetrock/drywall one in the same with siding... But that s not correct right? Do you install the drywall and THEN siding goes on top of that, then you paint? Or is drywall and siding the same thing?

I KNOW already (unless you guys REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY convince me) that I am going to end up waiting until everything is official and all the I s have been dotted, because I just can t handle the idea of looking back on my life and knowing I kissed someone who was technically "married". Just hate it.

He invited me to NYE and I ve never had a New Year s kiss (I m 25... Don t know how. Don t judge lol). I m incredibly physically attracted to him and realized he may be my first midnight peck! Until I remembered he s not freaking SINGLE yet!!! Lol.

Just curious if anyone has strong opinions like "DUH, everyone knows it s okay or everyone knows it s not okay!!!"

I'm not sure I understand the point. Whenever I ask a serious question on here, people are so bitter and judgmental without providing a simple 1+1=2 answer.
