People think they're SO open minded for accepting gays/trans, but when a similar situation comes up that society DOESN'T say is OK, it turns out they're no better than homophobes. The only reason they accept gays is because society taught them to because they're clearly not actually open-minded and accepting.

Remember, no child is being affected.

I don't see why we have to pretend everything is all good. If I think being a sl*t is bad, how DARE you shame me for saying so? Are you any better for shaming me than I am for shaming sl*ts?

PS. I don't actually go around shaming sl*ts. But if I did, I'd be no worse than sl*t-shamer shamers. Get it?

The problem is I'd have to initiate everything since he can barely speak to people. What if he interprets that as leading him on, or thinks I'm just doing it out of pity? (I do feel bad for him but I bet I would like him as a person and I respect him more than most people do). He gets extremely anxious around people and I don't want to make things worse, but I also feel like he wants and deserves friends. (He chose to go to a gathering I was at once).

By that logic, death>suffering, so we should kill all the starving children to relieve them of suffering.

(If you're gonna say "well it doesn't count as human yet", that's a different argument. No one knows when it counts as human so you cant just assume it's not human. Better to be safe than a possible murderer. But that's a different issue.)

I don't mind if it is. I'd rather be weird and know that I'm not easily influenced by society.

It seems like the only reason to want to go out of your way to look pretty (unnaturally) is to impress shallow people, or because your self-value is connected to your looks. I don't judge people who do because maybe they're just insecure about looks, but I don't see any good reason to wear it.

Concluding that females are better, or that religion is bad is really closed minded. Just because there are extreme people and bad aspects/interpretations of things doesn't mean the whole idea behind the thing is bad or wrong.
