  • How does The Doctor keep finding wrongs to right?

    I'm fairly new to Doctor Who, so forgive my ignorance, but does The Doctor just meander about space and time, stumbling onto villains and problems to fix? For instance, why was he there when he met Rose and faced the Autons? Why did they end up on Satellite 5, where they found the Jagrafess? Does the Doctor know about such problems to fix, or is it just dumb luck?

  • Why does the picture of my LCD TV darken?

    When we are watching TV if the scene is dark enough, the picture darkens. For instance, if it is mostly black with just one line of white text, the white looks darker than it should. But in brighter scenes, everything is fine. It seems like like the backlight is dimming. I hope I have been clear enough. What's going on?

  • Where is that YouTube video where the girl gets smacked?

    She's sitting at a computer, and (I assume) her brother creeps up behind her, says something in a foreign language (it sounds Russian, or similar) and she responds, and he slaps her out of frame, and does a little dance. It's very short, under ten seconds.
