  • Rain forecasting in NYC?

I need to have some work done at my home and the contractor says that they need 48 hours before and after the work with no rain. As far as I can tell, they would need to forecast 96 hours (or at least 4 days, the work will only take an hour or two) without rain in order for the contractor to work.

My question, what is the likelihood that the FORECAST will show no rain for 4 consecutive days during July and August in the northeast of the US? I have a feeling that the probability is nearly 0. The 10 day forecast is showing at least a 10% chance of rain for the next 10 days (weather.com).

Is there any chance a forecast might show 4 consecutive days without rain?

  • Lenders Loss PAYABLE vs Lenders Loss PAYEE?

I have a bank hounding me for the latter and all I can find is the former. Literally, the title on the endorsement says Payable, everything else on the document says Loss Payee. If you've ever worked with a bank processing department before, you understand it can be like talking to a wall.

I am certainly aware of the distinction when adding "Lenders" to the phrase; it essentially eliminates the "intentional acts" exclusions from the policy so the bank can still be made whole.

However, I do not know the difference between Payable and Payee here. Is there a difference of which I am not aware?

I am using ISO 12 18 (Loss Payable Provisions), if that helps.

  • Grave Markers for MIA?

I have a relative who went MIA in WWII (pilot shot down over the Pacific). We were wondering what rules, regulations or laws there might be concerning whether we could add his name to our family plot. He is the only remaining sibling not listed in that plot.

Citation would be appreciated but not required for a best answer.

  • Problem with email delivery to @vzw.blackberry.net, please help.?

I am having a problem with receiving email on my Blackberry through Verizon. All emails are being returned as undeliverable with the following error message:

SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command:

    host mx04.bis.na.blackberry.com[216.9.248.35]:

550 #5.7.1 Your access to submit messages to this e-mail system has been rejected.

Verizon said its a problem with the Blackberry servers (which I agree with) but RIM charges $50 per service call. I was hoping someone might be able to help me here.

This is not an error with the phone itself, but rather the email servers at RIM. Regardless, I have done soft and hard reboots. I have also sent the "Service Books" and done "Register Now" in Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table. I found these two suggestions on Blackberry forums.

Please reply with any suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help.
